I would just like to write through your paper, to say how much I enjoy every week reading your page of 'Straws in the Wind' compiled by Meyrick Brown. The quips that are put in most weeks are such a joy and laugh to read. I hope other readers like myself think the same.

The ones in last Friday's edition, I quote, 'Well spotted and 'Out and About', had me in stitches. I hope the writer keeps up the good storytelling, for my reading enjoyment on a Friday especially.
