FOLLOWING on from the success of winning the national 'Access all Areas' award, D. Fecci and Sons, of Lower Frog Street, Tenby, has been named 'Britain's Best Fish and Chip Shop' in Period Living and Traditional Homes magazine's Best of British Awards 2004-2005. Over 200,000 readers of this market-leading title were asked to nominate the aspects of traditional British life that they love best. Out of the 15 categories, from best stately home to favourite reclamation yard, readers nationwide enthusiastically cast their votes, which were then whittled down to the top 10. D. Fecci and Sons proved to be the most popular fish and chip shop in this highly contested category, as voted by the readers of the magazine.
