At the recent Pembrokeshire Urdd gymnastics final in Haverfordwest, eight pupils went from Pembroke Dock Community School to compete in the Girls Individual Sequence and the Large Schools Group competition.

Louise Mear was placed fourth individually, with the group of Ella Froment, Tia Brenchley, Alyssa Wright, Shawna John, Nia Williams, Louise Mear, Kirsten and Thomas Donovan succesfully defending their group title.

As a result, they earned themselves a place in the National Finals at Aberystwyth and hope to improve on their last year's placing of fourth, but will face tough competition from the other 17 schools.
