Local youngster, Tom Dyson (pictured) is the latest young player to make the step up from the Pembrokeshire Football Coaching Centre to Swansea City.

Tom, who has been playing for Tenby Under 10s, has been offered a six-week trial with the Swansea Centre of Excellence, following in the footsteps of three other boys from the Pembrokeshire centre, who have made the same progress over previous months.

Coaching director and FAW football development officer, Gerry Rigby, said: "I am delighted that yet another boy from the centre has impressed Swansea sufficiently for them to offer this trial. I am confident that there are more boys from the Pembrokeshire centre who will be making the same progress in the coming months."

The coaching centre re-commences on Monday, March 5. For further information, contact Gerry Rigby at County Hall on 01437 776379.
