A new sponsorship deal for Pembroke Cricket was announced at the club's recent annual dinner.

Chevron Pembroke have donated £3,000 to the club to be used to renew the artificial wicket which is mainly used by Pembroke's three junior and youth teams.

Phil Thompson, public affairs officer for Chevron, said: "We are always happy to support  sport, but doubly so when the facility will be used to encourage sport for local children."

Club chairman John Harries thanked Chevron for their donation and continued support.
