Sir, An apology to the residents of Wooden and in particular to the persons who complained to the environmental officer regarding noise from my premises. What a pity the complainant didn't have the decency to complain to me personally and save Pembrokeshire County Council money and environmental officer's time and money having to travel to Wooden because of a one-off farewell party by some Spanish students who are returning to their homeland with what would have been happy memories of Pembrokeshire, and Wooden in particular. They have apologised for their actions and their differential in culture, i.e. they, the culprits, have a culture which allows them to rest in the afternoons and to party and enjoy life at night. They are sorry.
William McGrath, Managing director, Woodridge Activity Co. Ltd. Woodridge Inn, Wooden.
