STUDENTS at Saundersfoot Community Learning Centre have been awarded certificates for achieving a range of IT qualifications. They were presented with their awards recently by Clr. Mike Evans, deputy cabinet member for making the connections and partnerships. Congratulating them, he said: "There is no doubt that knowledge of IT and computers is becoming a vital part of our lives for everyday activities and work. "You have made a wise choice to develop your IT skills and I wish you the best of success in your future studies." Over 2,000 people in Pembrokeshire are currently participating in Pembrokeshire County Council computer and IT classes. Pembrokeshire has one of the highest percentages of population per county undertaking IT training and the county council has made significant investment in IT and computer training to ensure that classes have the latest equipment. This includes fast internet connection via broadband and well-trained dedicated tutors and support staff.
