Praise has been given to pupils of a local school who have been working hard to improve standards at Tenby Railway Station. At their meeting on Tuesday evening, town councillors congratulated the pupils of Greenhill School's Environment Club who has adopted the station as part of a project. The students have made great strides in making the station a better place to be and to look at and have initiated several improvements such as extra litter picks, a galvanised planter, four hanging baskets, and bollard painting. The club had also written to the council requesting that the flower baskets and planters are watered across the summer when students are not readily available to carry out the work. "Their work has been very worthwhile and it's something we've needed doing for a very long time," said Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane . Clr. Mrs. Christine Brown said that they would hold a meeting to investigate all avenues of how the town council and county council could help the pupils and get back to them.
