TWO students from the Tudor Lodge Academy at Jameston have been chosen to take part in the national final of a cooking competition.
Tessa Lewis, who is on a placement at the Tudor Lodge Restaurant, owned by PRP Training Ltd., will be assisted by Beau Mogford, who is a student on the Choices Project, which is available for youngsters aged 14-16 and is also based at the academy.
Their menu has been selected for the competition to be held at the Hotel and Catering Show at Bournemouth International Centre on March 10.
For the first round they were required to produce a three-course meal with costing for four covers that didn't exceed £8 per person. Also the food they are producing has to be suitable for a gourmet dinner consisting of 200 people.
