Glamorgan will bring a team of international cricketers to play against the Pembrokeshire Select XI at Cresselly in a benefit match for Glamorgan skipper David Hemp on Sunday, July 27.

Barring injuries, the team will be David Hemp, Robert Croft, Gareth Rees, Alex Wharf, Richard Grant, Jamie Dalrymple, Dean Cosker, James Harris, Ben Wright, Michael O'Shea and Huw Waters. David Hemp has played international cricket for England A and Bermuda, Robert Croft, Alex Wharf and Jamie Dalrymple have played international cricket for England, Mike Powell for England A and Dean Cosker, Ben Wright, Mark Wallace, Huw Waters, Michael O'Shea and James Harris for the England under 19 team. In addition, Richard Grant has played representative cricket for Wales and scored a century in the recent match against Berkshire David Hemp is delighted to have the opportunity of making a return visit to Pembrokeshire. Speaking to Observer Sport, he said "Previous beneficiaries have all told me what a great day they had at Cresselly when they took a team down to play a benefit fixture at the club, so I was delighted when Glyn Cole said that I could bring a team down this season as part of my benefit year. We are looking forward to a competitive game against a Pembrokeshire XI on a very good wicket and picturesque ground." The Cresselly ground has become a popular venue for the other Glamorgan players as well.
