Tenby RNLI's inshore lifeboat was launched on Sunday evening following reports that people had become stuck on rocks near Amroth.

Shortly after 7.30 pm, the ILB discovered a father and daughter along with their dog, stranded on rocks eight-feet out of the water near Telpyn Point towards Pendine.

On the third attempt, RNLI crew members Louie Beynon, Robert Beynon and Jonathan Lewis, managed to recover all three, and return them safely to Saundersfoot harbour where they were greeted by the local coastguard team.

"It was a difficult rescue as there was a nasty surge in the sea with the water quite choppy, but the ILB crew did a great job in recovering the party," said an RNLI spokesperson.
