The storytelling sessions held at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery last week proved to be a great success.

From Monday to Friday, Teifion Powell, a graduate in performing arts from Newport University, entertained and enthralled his audience with superb renditions of several children's books.

Each half-hour session took the children on a flight of imagination, through adventures with pirates on the stormy seas, into deep dark woods, on journeys on brooms for Hallowe'en and travels into new and exciting lands populated by wild and scary beasts.

One visitor described the storytelling as 'fantastic' and it was a sentiment shared by everyone who had the good fortune to hear it.

The museum is hoping to hold other storytelling sessions at Christmas time with seasonal stories.

Please note that the museum has now adopted its winter opening hours (Tuesday-Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday).
