There were only a few weather-related issues in Pembrokeshire on Wednesday night despite heavy rain and strong winds coupled with a high tide.
Pembrokeshire County Council workmen - who were on duty at key points along the county's coast overnight - were involved in clearing stones washed onto the road at Amroth. As we went to press yesterday (Thursday), the authority confirmed the road was open.
Carew Bridge was closed at around 8.30 pm due to flooding, but re-opened early yesterday morning.
Elsewhere, there were reports of surface water in Pembroke.
There were no major issues in north of the county.
The road at Newgale remained open.
