WHAT stories lie behind the front doors of Wales' terraced streets? In the second series of Stories from the Street, presenter Lucy Owen visits some of Wales' most interesting streets and meets those who live there. All six streets that are featured were also once home to some of Wales' greatest sons and daughters, but can you guess who they may be? Viewers have already heard about the street that was home to musical greats such as Sir Geraint Evans and Stuart Burrows, along with the Cardiff street where Ivor Novello was born. In this week's programme, the makers travel further west to Main Street in Pembroke. One of Wales' most famous and impressive Norman castles lies on this lovely street which is also adorned with some fantastic Georgian architecture. And in Thursday's programme (7.30 - 8 pm) on ITV1 Wales, they reveal an almost forgotten but pioneering Main Street film-maker who was way ahead of his time.
