Sir, In reply to the letter to you last week from my local councillor, David Pugh, Kilgetty, Begelly ward, regarding council concentrating on delivering services to people of Pembrokeshire, at what point in the last 12 months did he stop? I have campaigned for several years to the council to provide a solution to illegal parking outside Kilgetty Co-op. On May 8 this year, Clr. Pugh, Clr. Rob Lewis, Mr. Ian Westley and myself had a meeting outside the Co-op to try to resolve this issue. It was agreed a camera with ANPR capabilities be installed with 24-hour 365-day coverage, and I quote Mr. Wesley, 'I can do this, we have funding in place'. To date, not even a notice to inform the public of these intentions has been posted, let alone install the camera. Clr. Pugh informs the community council at their meetings, it is in hand. I'm quite sure, should my ward be graced with a councillor with the ambition and intentions of East Williamston's Jacob Williams, who was the target of Clr. Pugh's letter, then my ward and the county would be far better off. My councillor was one who voted yes to give the CE his pay-off on alleged financial benefit to the county. Maybe Clr. Williams has ruffled a few feathers at County Hall. Good on you Jacob, I say. Maybe I'll take some advice from him and stand for my ward next time. In this life, there are Do-ers and Don't-ers! I rest my case. Dave Mitchell, Begelly.
