Firstly, a big thank you to all who have supported the campaign to save Milford Haven Coastguard Operations Centre so far. Local campaigns like ours are being replicated all round the UK coast.
People still have until March 24 to respond to the Maritime and Coastguard Agency consultation at http://www.mcga.gov.uk">www.mcga.gov.uk, or to sign the online petition on facebook - Save-Milford-Haven-Coastguard.
If you would like to help in a practical way, such as taking a petition for friends and neighbours to sign, please ring the coastguard campaign hotline 01437 700700.
But whatever else you do, please think about coming to the public meeting this Friday,. 7.30 pm, at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke Dock.
It is being organised by the MCA themselves and they will be on hand to answer pertinent questions. Attendances at these meeting round the UK have been really good, and I am sure ours will be no exception.
