A delightful mix of ingredients made for an enjoyable and sociable Steps2Health walk on Saturday (writes B.S.).

The tone was set by the extremely affable driver of the Silcox 352 bus who put his extra load of passengers in high humour as they left Tenby. More walkers boarded the bus - it was now resembling more of a coach outing, at Saundersfoot and, altogether, 35 walkers assembled at the RAOB Club, Kilgetty, for the start of the walk.

Margaret Lewis led the way down Errox Hill in Spring-like sunshine. In fact, quite a few daffodils were spotted. An interesting route took us through the grounds of St. Issell's and through the caravan site to Coppet Hall Beach.

Now we enjoyed sea views on this brilliant morning as we made our way along the coast path to Wiseman's Bridge Inn, where coffee and plates of biscuits awaited us. It was good to relax, chat and, yes, cool down after the exercise on such a mild morning, before returning to Saundersfoot either on foot or by the convenient bus which stopped outside the inn.

We meet tomorrow (Saturday) for a local walk starting 10.30 am from outside Somerfield. Why not join us?
