Budding Miss Wales contestant Stephanie Westwood is taking to the water to raise funds for the Joshua Foundation as part of the competition.
Stephanie (pictured) will be undertaking a nine-mile kayak journey from Caldey Island to Amroth bay on June 27.
She will be leaving Tenby at at 2 pm to be towed over to the monastic isle by an inshore boat.
She will then leave Caldey at 3 pm and start making her way to Amroth bay.
"I will head towards St. Catherine's, then round to Monkstone Point and follow the coast around to Amroth," said Stephanie.
"So if you see me, do not forget to give me a wave."
For safety, Stephanie, who has been in training for the last two months, will be accompanied by two other persons.
The Amroth Arms has kindly agreed to hold a 'pork roll and pint' event from 5 pm onwards, while there will also be a charity raffle in order to raise as much money as possible for the charity.
"The Joshua Foundation is a very worthy charity that helps terminally ill children to do things that they would otherwise not be able to afford to do, such as going to see Father Christmas in Lapland," continued Stephanie.
"For the Miss Wales event, I need to get as many text and 'phone votes as I can, so to vote for me if you could, text my name, Stephanie Westwood, to the text number 84205, or ring from a landline 0901 656 1550 and enter my contestant number, which is 63."
