AS previously reported in this column, a Whitland businesswoman, Stephanie Davies, has been selected as one of the competitors to appear in BBC Wales's new reality TV series 'The Biz'.
'The Biz' is a Welsh Development Agency competiton currently being screened on the BBC digital channel 2W. It gives people across Wales the chance to show that they have what it takes to be boss of their own business.
Forty-one-year-old Stephanie, who is a mother of six and wife to a farmer, has been chosen as one of five winners to feature in the show.
Stephanie is opening a children's day nursery in Haverfordwest and during her first year, BBC Wales will be following her every step as she plots her strategy, figures out her finance and markets her idea, revealing whether or not her business is a success.
This is where the work begins for Stephanie and the other finalists, as we watch them either struggle or succeed in being self-employed. Have they got what it takes? Will they make it in the big world of business? There's only one way to find out, by watching 'The Biz'.
The first 30-minute programme of the series was screened on Monday, November 11, when it showed the summer auditions, which were held in Cardiff, Haverfordwest, Swansea, Wrexham, Aberystwyth and Llandudno.
Following the selection weekend, shown last Monday, the five chosen finalists will be on view this Monday (November 25) at 8.30 pm. All programmes will be repeated on Mondays at 7.30 pm on BBC One Wales, starting from January 6, 2003.
