Married recently at Sardis Congregational Chapel were Mr. Daniel Wilkinson and Miss Ellen Dennis.

The groom, a self-employed builder, is the son of Hazel and Chris Wilkinson, of Stepaside, while the bride, a maths teacher at Sir Thomas Picton School, Haverfordwest, is the daughter of Linnia and Victor Dennis, also of Stepaside.

Given away by her father, the beautiful bride wore an ivory taffeta Venus Bridal gown with crystal and seed pearl embellishment and customised sweetheart neckline.

Bridesmaids were Nicola Wirth and Mel Harris, bride’s school friends, and Carly Wilkinson, groom’s sister-in-law, who wore Ever-Pretty elegant lace top bridesmaid dresses. Flower girls were Molly and Layla O’Neill-Wilkinson, groom’s daughters.

Best man was Gary Wilkinson, groom’s brother, while usher was Tom Dennis, bride’s brother.

The service was conducted by Rev. Elwyn John. Bella Voce choir were also in attendance.

A reception was held in a decorated barn at the bride’s parents home.

The couple, who spent their honeymoon in Dubrovnik, Croatia, are making their home in Saundersfoot.
