Regarding your story ‘Tenby’s Nurse Led Walk-In Centre to open on Monday’, I welcomed the temporary reopening of the minor injuries unit in Tenby piloted last Easter and hoped it would be a more permanent solution, so I’m glad this new service has started.

Congratulations to the South East Pembrokeshire Community Health Network for their campaigning work. The re-opening is a testament for their campaign.

I noticed they are still concerned about gaps in the original plan provision that need to be addressed. I will continue to work with them to make sure of the best possible service for the people of Pembrokeshire.

I’m aware of the difficulties people are having in accessing GPs, particularly during the busy holiday season, so I believe this is a step in the right direction for people in the Tenby area.
