Children in Pembrokeshire have been advised on how to deal with cyber and mobile phone bullying - as well as many other matters - in this year's Crucial Crew.
The annual event at Withybush Showground teaches Year 6 pupils about how to deal with various dangers and hazards.
Professionals from many different agencies give the children guidance on how to stay safe on the road, on a farm, on the coast, on the internet, in the home, and more.
Children are also advised on personal safety and told who they should contact if they, or somebody they know, is experiencing abuse.
Now in its 13th year, the two-week event has hosted approaching 20,000 children in Pembrokeshire so far - with about 1,500 attending this year.
"The feedback we have is that the children enjoy it and learn valuable lessons, and the schools believe it is very worthwhile," said Clr. Brian Hall, cabinet member for the environment and transportation.
Headteacher of Puncheston CP School, Mr. Alun Ifans, said: "I couldn't wish for anything better to help teach children about various aspects of safety. "The advice is very appropriate, effective and up- to-date - reflecting the latest technology. "It also complements the work we are doing in school with personal and social development." Each child goes home with a goody bag which this year includes new T-shirts sponsored by Chevron Ltd.
The organisations taking part were Dyfed Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire Brigade, Welsh Ambulance Service, Maritime and Coastguard Agency, Pembrokeshire County Council's Road Safety Unit, Waste Strategy Section, School Transport Division, and Food Safety Unit, Western Power, the Family Abuse Centre, and the National Farmers Union.
The event was co-ordinated by John Gobbi, Pembrokeshire County Council's road safety officer. It was generously sponsored by Chevron Ltd and Powersafe.
The organisers would like to thank Phil Thompson of Chevron Limited, Tony Edwards of Powersafe, and Malcolm Crossman, the general manager of the Pembrokeshire Agricultural Society and his staff, for supporting the event.
