If you thought that today's 'kids' just wouldn't enjoy good old-fashioned entertainment, then maybe it's time to think again because actor Thomas Kett's stand-up comedy show seems to have proved over and over again that they still love a well-told, imaginative and downright silly story or two. When Tom Kett starts making strange sounds and walking in a very peculiar way, you may start to have your reservations that he could entertain a gaggle of modern youngsters. But his variety-style performance of silly tales about lost dogs, flooded houses and his naughty friend Jessie who always falls down the stairs soon stirs up many happy giggles from the youngsters. Of course a decent smattering of spooky voices and a generous helping of daft sound effects and comedy slapstick, do make you wonder about the assortment of strange people he's met and the pets he's owned - but hey! It's for the kids.... isn't it? Thomas Kett's Odd Tales, which is especially aimed at six to 11-year-olds, can be seen at the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, tomorrow (Saturday), at 11 am and 2 pm.
