Michael Day celebrated his 60th birthday on January 11 at the Tenby Community Learning Centre where he is attending nightclasses in Traditional Stained Glass.

He has recently finished a piece depicting a trawler that his grandfather worked on, and he has just started a new project of an old steam engine.

To celebrate the special occasion and in keeping with the course, he made a cake with a stained glass design, which his fellow students and teacher, Poppy, said tasted delicious!
