Three local organisations received a boost this week courtesy of Tenby's amateur musical society, Stagestruck Productions.

At a special presentation evening at the Prince of Wales on Friday night, Stagestruck chairman, Mrs. Judy Hughes, had great delight in presenting cheques for £1,000 to Tenby and District Gateway Club and £250 each to Tenby Scout and Guide Hall and Tenby Sea Cadets.

Although the company has been taking a sabbatical over recent months, the cheques represent money raised at previous shows over the last two years.

Every effort is being made by the committee to find a producer/director, musical director and accompanist in a bid to form a production team to stage a show in the future.
