Last week, one of Pembrokeshire Tourism's members of staff was rewarded for reaching her 10-year anniversary of service with the county's leading tourism association.

On November 5, Liz Williams, project executive at Pembrokeshire Tourism, was presented with a glass trophy at the organisation's board meeting in recognition for her 10-year commitment.

Liz, who has undertaken a number of different roles within the business, including accountancy and sales, is currently responsible for managing and co-ordinating training opportunities and projects held by Pembrokeshire Tourism, including the Awards, AGM and the annual Supplier to Buyer event.

She commented: "Reaching my 10th anniversary with Pembrokeshire Tourism has been a huge achievement; I have thoroughly enjoyed being involved in and witnessing the growth of the business throughout the years."

This year has been one of the most successful years to date for the trade association having achieved the Investors in People Gold accreditation and the Chwarae Teg Exemplar Employer Award.

Maudie Hughes, chief executive of Pembrokeshire Tourism, said: "Liz has been a key member of the Pembrokeshire Tourism team for 10 years, and been an integral part of the development of the organisation in that time.

"To be able to recognise her commitment to the business and the contribution she has made over the last 10 years was great and I look forward to celebrating another long service milestone with her in the future."
