Touched by the plight of the people of Haiti, the staff, parents and children of St. Teilo's School wanted to do something to support the relief effort currently being undertaken in this earthquake devastated country.

It was decided at very short notice to have a non-uniform day on Friday, coupled with a cake sale at the end of the school day.

On Friday morning, the staff room was inundated with tasty treats; the response from families was overwhelming as was the generosity in the donations towards the non-uniform event. At the end of the day, a staggering £556.40 was raised.

The staff and governors would like to congratulate the children and their families on raising such a large sum and thank everybody who baked, bought or contributed in any way towards this very worthy cause.
