St. Mary’s Soupermen held a meeting recently when plans for future events were discussed. These begin with a coffee morning tomorrow (Saturday) at Church House from 10 am - 12 noon.

This will be followed by a film night, including refreshments, on Thursday, December 15, when the film Nativity will be shown.

They end a very busy year with the annual Christmas lunch on Sunday, December 18, which has become very popular, so get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Members felt that, while their well-deserved reputation for culinary events has grown, the Soupermen group is primarily an organisation of fun and fellowship, and new members are always welcome. A testimony to this ideal is the camaraderie within the group which is second to none.
