After they had all been blessed or received communion from him, the children put stickers all over Joel’s cassock with kind words and thoughts from each one of them, much to his delight! They also presented him with a carved message board, a large card signed by all the children, as well as many greetings cards. “We just wanted Rev. Joel to know that we think he’s fantastic and that we love Eleri and Eliana (Joel’s wife and daughter) too,” said Katie, a member of both clubs.
