The highly popular Nativity Crib Festival will again be staged at St. Mary's Church this year.

Beginning on December 2 and running throughout Advent and Christmas, the church will be beautifully decorated with nativity scenes from a wide variety of organisations from within the church family.

Members of the five benefice churches are invited to contribute to this festival and the organisers would also greatly welcome participation from any other group or organisation from the wider community.

There are no stipulations concerning which medium is used to create your masterpiece, but it must be remembered that the stone floor in church is not at all forgiving when ceramic or glass objects are dropped!

If you would like to reserve a spot for your own creation, please contact Ruth Webb on 843504, Anne Buet on 84345, or a member of the clergy.

A coffee morning will be taking place on Saturday, December 7, in Church House, in order to support the crib festival. It will run from 10 am to noon and there will be a sales table, raffle and cake stall. Please come along and enjoy some festive fun and a chat over a pre-Christmas coffee.

Donations are now being accepted towards Christmas flowers in St. Mary's Church. You may wish to acknowledge an individual loved one or several members of your family by making a contribution in their memory. Please contact Rita Salisbury on 844493 or Anne Buet on 843451 for further details.
