County Councillor Mrs. C. Cavill's report

County Clr. Mrs. Cavill reported that enquiries were ongoing over speeding at Rushy Lake,

In response to complaints with reference to the appearance of a property near Rushy Lake Bridge, County Clr. Mrs. Cavill reported that the matter was in the hands of the Pembrokeshire Coast National  Park's enforcement officer.

Clr. Mrs. Cavill agreed to make further enquiries with reference to both the sale of cars at the garage and also the building of the boundary wall at the New Hedges Tavern.

There was no further news with reference to the provision of the new bus shelter.

The delay in the completion of the access modifications near Knightston Close was due to the recent poor weather. Clr. Mrs. Cavill would pursue the matter again.

With regard to St. Anne's Church, the developer had now nearly completed the car park for the church.

Village matters

The chairman reported that together with Clr. Nash and Mr. Ken Hall, he had erected the Christmas tree and it was arranged that Mr. Percival would connect the lights.

Playing Field

Clr. Nash reported that he had been unable to carry out the works at the playing field due to the very wet weather. He was in contact with the Village Hall management committee, and would do the work as soon as possible.

Correspondence

The chairman read letters from Pembrokeshire County Council, with reference to polling districts, and also feedback from Pembrokeshire National Park. The adjudication panel report was circulated. Several brochures, including the PAVS bulletin, were received.

The chairman advised that the amount of correspondence was less due to the fact that the meeting was a week earlier than usual.

Any Other Business

The chairman expressed the view that the new tarmac laid at the car park at the Village Hall was excellent and wished to convey the council's congratulations to the Village Hall management committee.

The next meeting of the council will be held on Tuesday, January 13, at 4 pm.
