The chairman opened the August meeting, advising that it would be a short one dealing only with urgent business. Addition to the agenda - Discussion on the outcome of the meeting at County Hall: The chairman reported that the meeting on the electoral boundary review had been reasonably successful. Views had been expressed by everyone, and the chairman thanked the members for the support and for the way that they had presented their case. The cabinet decision was now awaited.

Advice of approval noted for -Broad Oaks, Swallow Tree, Saundersfoot; 17 Hunters Park, New Hedges; Fry, 2 St. Anne's Drive, New Hedges. Extension and garage, Lindisfarne, Broadfield Hill. No objections were raised to the application.
FINANCE
The clerk advised that the annual return had been completed and would be sent to the auditors in the next few days for their examination. Appeals: Crossroads - A donation of £10 was proposed by Clr. Mrs. Caswell, seconded by Clr. T. Morris.
highway matters
Clr. Morris enquired about the police speed checks carried out recently on the bypass. The chairman had the results and would give them to Clr. Morris. The new street lighting programme was ongoing at present. The bus stop markings were still awaited near the garage. County Clr. Mrs. Cavill would pursue this.
Village Park
The clerk advised that Clr. Hall had been in contact with Pembrokeshire County Council. Work was due to start in the near future to remove the play equipment. Clr. Hall would advise again at the next meeting.
correspondence
The chairman read an invitation to members to assist with the Citizens Advice Bureau. Details were received on Veg Oil motoring, which were recorded. Pembrokeshire County Council had sent 'No Smoking' signs for the bus shelters. Surgery details from Nick Ainger were displayed, as well as brochures from several companies. The chairman read a letter from Tenby Town Council regarding the problem of bus hooliganism. The letter invited the council to attend a meeting to discuss the problem. The chairman agreed to attend.
