Recently, St. Johns Pilots visited the 'Open Day' at the new Tenby Cottage Hospital. Whilst the children were completing a worksheet to help them in their understanding, Mansel Thomas, chairman of the Local Implementation Group, gave them a tour of the building, including the various new facilities that were now available to the community of Tenby and area. The children were particularly interested in the art work on the floor of the entrance hall, as they had all been previously involved in a competition to design the logo. Before returning to St. Johns, they called at the home of Bryn and Shirley Draper for refreshments. Further events planned for the Pilots are a 'Read-a- thon' to raise funds for Health Help International, an organisation run to raise funds to aid the people of India and Monza, whose plight is desperate at the moment, and a 'Come and Catch Easter' afternoon to be held on Good Friday afternoon. This will include art, drama and music. All children between the ages of nine and 16 are welcome to both events. Please come along and join in the fun.
