The Eucharist service last Sunday was celebrated by the Rev. Patricia Campion who was 'standing in' for our vicar who is on holiday.
In her sermon, she told us how she attended local schools as a voluntary person and illustrated how children can be introduced to the Bible, in practical and 'fun' ways by using numerals 1-15. For example, there is only one God, there are 10 commandments, 12 apostles etc.
Our thanks go to the Rev. Tricia for taking the service and her lively and interesting sermon.
The service this Sunday, August 2, is Evensong at 6 pm. A cordial welcome is extended to all to share in our worship in this our lovely ancient Norman church.
On Tuesday, August 4, we are holding our grande fête in Manorbier Castle grounds, starting at 6.30 pm. There will be many stalls and attractions, a local band will be playing, and raffles etc. This is a fun evening which is very enjoyable, please do come and support this event. All proceeds are for the church funds.
