It was good to see so many people in the congregation last Sunday, returning after their battles with the winter's cough, colds and flu.
The Holy Eucharist service was celebrated by the vicar, the Rev. Victor Millgate, the readings were from 1 Samuel 3 1-10, Revelations 5 1-10 and the Holy Gospel from St. John 1 43-51. Unfortunately, the vicar was unable to give his sermon as he was still struggling with chest and throat problems - we pray for your better health Vic.
During the administration of the Holy Sacrament, the choir sang the beautiful anthem, 'Oh taste and see' by John Goss after Psalm 34.
The services are so enriched by the choir and organist - thank you all. Fair Trade goods were on sale after the service.
This Sunday, January 25, there will be celebration of Holy Eucharist at 11.15 am. All are very welcome, and do not forget we now enjoy an attractive children's corner with a variety of attractions.
