The service last Sunday, 21st Sunday after Trinity, was led by the vicar, the Rev. Victor Millgate. The Old Testament reading was Isaiah Ch 25 1-9, the New Testament reading was the letter of Paul to the Philippians Ch 4 1-9, while the Holy Gospel reading was from Matthew Ch 22 1-14.
The sermon was based on the readings and the congregation were reminded that they should at all times keep on doing the things they have learned and the God of peace will be with them.
The Fair Trade table was as always well-stocked and supported.
This Sunday, the service will be a celebration of the Holy Eucharist commencing at 11.15 am and a warm welcome is extended to all.
