St. Florence Luncheon Club met on July 20 for the last lunch before the summer break. As usual, an excellent meal was provided by Liz, of Bramleys, and enjoyed by everyone.

The day was a special occasion as two members were celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary, and everyone enjoyed being able to share this happy occasion with them. This year has seen a few notable anniversaries and birthdays for members and volunteers, and best wishes are sent to them all.

On July 27, the Luncheon Club, helpers and friends went to the Millennium Theatre at Cardiff, to see My Fair Lady. The show was excellent, and everyone enjoyed a wonderful day out, which was efficiently organised as usual.

The Luncheon Club will be re-starting on September 7, followed by a coach trip to Aberystwyth and train ride to Devil's Bridge on September 14 (enquiries to Mrs. Mary Evans 01834 871439).
