Rain didn’t stop play on the recent Bank Holiday Monday - in fact it was the perfect weather for ducks - and with that, the charity fundraiser held by St David’s RNLI on the River Alun outside the Cathedral was hailed a resounding success - with over £1,000 raised!
“Thank you to everyone who supported our annual duck race, braving the elements to buy duck names, home made cakes and RNLI goodies,” St David’s RNLI shared on social media.

“We were overwhelmed by demand for ducks so the race had to start a little later than planned - thank you for your patience.
“An incredible £1,315.50 was raised! All of this money will go to our station, helping our volunteers continue their lifesaving work.”
