Work will commence in the next few days to create three new designated crossing points along Spring Gardens in Narberth.

Local residents have already been circulated with letters to advise of all works intended in the area.

"These crossing points are being created with mainly our elder residents in mind," said local county councillor Wynne Evans. "With a number of sheltered housing projects in that vicinity, and the new large supermarket to be open within weeks, this will allow pedestrians to cross more safely

"The works are scheduled to be completed within two weeks of the start date," he added.
