A fantastic fun-filled family day out is guaranteed at this year’s Good Friday farmers market in Haverfordwest - bursting with delicious Easter fayre and fun activities.

Visitors to the market have the chance to buy Easter favourites such as home-made hot cross buns, Simnel cakes, Easter cup cakes and much more.

A marvellous range of mouth-watering high quality produce, perfect for your Easter weekend is on offer from stallholders, including meat and poultry, farmhouse cheeses and preserves, deli foods, freshly-picked organic veg, and free-range eggs.

For your traditional Good Friday fish, look no further than Towy Fishmonger for a wonderful range of freshly-caught wet fish. You can also choose from seasonal fish and shellfish at Cardigan Bay Fish.

Stallholders will be also decorating their stalls, vying to win the best dressed stall competition.

A free chocolate Easter egg can be won by everyone taking part in the Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt and children can join in the fun of trying to ‘Pin the Tail on the Bunny’.

Children will be amazed at the balloon modelling skills of Stuart from Little Monsters as he creates a fantastic balloon model of their choice; plus Alais Winton will be creating wonderfully colourful face designs for children of all ages.

“It’s a lovely place to bring the whole family, with plenty of fun activities for children from an Easter egg hunt to face-painting, balloon-modelling, and Easter-themed quizzes and activities,” said Pembrokeshire County Council food officer Joanne Welch.

“And if you’d like to brighten up your home and garden for Easter, don’t forget to visit the Newbridge Nursery stall for colourful spring flowers and shrubs plus Greenacre Market Garden with their beautiful range of Welsh daffodils.

The Good Friday Farmers Market will be held on Friday, April 14, between 9 am and 2 pm, at Riverside Shopping, Haverfordwest.
