Over the last few weeks, Guides in Saundersfoot have been keeping the local postman busy writing to all their favourite sports stars and celebrities.
As part of Saundersfoot's week of Midsummer Madness, St. Issell's Girl Guides are hosting a 'Midsummer Masquerade Disco', on Saturday, June 24, the highlight of which will be the draw for the 'Sports and Celebs' raffle.
As Sam Attwell explained to the Observer: "We are running a raffle, but not just any raffle. The prizes are just amazing."
Her fellow Guides Polly and Heather continued: "We have exclusive items such as signed photos from Gavin Henson, Konnie from Blue Peter, cast members from Eastenders, and the Ospreys. Several premiership football teams, including Liverpool, have also donated items, as well as the cast of Emmerdale, David Tennant, who plays the current Dr. Who, in fact too many to mention.
"We have even had a letter from 10 Downing Street enclosing a raffle item," added Kate. "Just watch this space for more exciting details in the next few weeks."
