Disability Sport

Ever fancied fishing? Free introductory lessons in the art of coarse fishing by former world champion Ian Heaps, are being held at Holgan Farm Coarse Fishery, Llawhaden. Experienced tutors on hand. Open to all from eight to 80-year-olds. Tackle and bait provided. The lessons are being sponsored by Pembrokeshire Rivers Trust and Environment Agency Wales. There will be the choice of two sessions, 10 am - 12 noon or 2 - 4 pm. Suitable for those with a disability. Places are limited and a certificates of attendance will be awarded. Junior school age session is between 10 and 11 am, with senior age group running between 10.30 am and 12 noon. Pembrokeshire disability swimming squads, in association with Milford Haven Swimming Club, are holding coaching and stroke improvement sessions for children and young people at The Meads Leisure Centre, Milford Haven, on Sunday. Football

A football festival is being held for the Tenby family of schools at Greenhill School, on Monday, July 11. The football leaders award is being held on June 11 and 12 is now full. The next course is due to held in September. A first aid course is being planned for July at Clarbeston Road FC. The course is dependant on sufficient numbers to run. Pembrokeshire School Football Association is holding trials for Under 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s and 16s at Bridge Meadow, Haverfordwest, on Wednesday, June 29, Thursday, June 30, Wednesday, July 6, and Thursday, July 7.
