Templeton School Sports was held last Thursday. It was a pleasant, if blustery afternoon and given the recent weather, it was great for the event to go ahead on the organised date. Over 130 parents and relatives attended, and as usual all children took part and competed wholeheartedly all afternoon. The winning house this year was Templar. Poyer and Mounton were equal second on points, with Sentence close behind. The Victor Ludorum was shared between Leon Phillips and Jordan Thomas, the Victrix Ludorum was Georgia Roderick. The Berian Vaughan Trophy for the best performance on the day went to Dafydd Bevan. The Templeton WI Trophy for the best infant was awarded to Lewy Blanc. Anna Devall and Leon Phillips were the team captains who received the trophy for the winning house. Many thanks go to all those who helped to make the afternoon such a success, and especially to the PTA for organising the raffle and water for the children.
