At the start of the cricket season, the Sportlot of Wales allocated Narberth Cricket Club a community chest grant for £265 to purchase cricket equipment for the junior section of the club.

The club were extremely grateful for this donation which enabled them to purchase bats, gloves, spring-loaded wickets and balls. At present the junior section of the club have in excess of 40 members both girls and boys ranging from age five to 11 years old.

Although the juniors do not participate in league games, players are at the age of 11 encouraged to join the under 12s team who have just recently won the Pembrokeshire under 12s league.

Cricket Practice is held at Narberth Cricket Club ground on Friday evening during the cricket season between 6-8 pm and any new members would be more than welcome to attend.
