Following the successful comeback of the County Rally, members of Pembrokeshire YFC have been relaxing with some sporting competitions.
The rugby tournament, held at Narberth, was won by Hermon YFC, with Llysyfran YFC the runners-up. The rounders tournament held at Sir Thomas Picton School saw Llawhaden YFC emerge as winners, with Llysyfran again in second place.
In June, there will be men's football and ladies' netball on Sunday, June 9, and ladies' football and men's hockey on Sunday, June 30.
However, for those fed up with football and for the World Cup widows, the County Chairman's Ball will be held at the Fishguard Bay Hotel on Friday, June 14. The evening will feature a buffet, dance and 'promise auction' conducted by local personality, Brian Harries. Proceeds will be in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
On the same evening, it is hoped to present Brian with the donations that YFC clubs have raised for the Noah's Ark Appeal.
