Concerns have been raised with Saundersfoot Community Council that a fatality could occur with the amount of vehicles that travel at excessive speed on roads leading into the seaside village.

When discussed at the most recent meeting of the Council, it was acknowledged by members that this was an ongoing major issue within the wards.

Possible actions include: 20mph restrictions to be imposed by the Welsh Government (feed-in date to be confirmed); the introduction of speed humps; the installation of electronic (solar powered) speed signs; the installation of further double yellow lines.

It was requested that correspondence be sent to Pembrokeshire County Council requesting further information on what actions the Community Council could take to prevent motorists from speeding or potential accidents from occurring.
