Tenby had special guests visiting the third Tenby Blues Festival this year.

The American born (Washington DC), Dan Cassidy brother of the late Eva Cassidy, performed in Caffe Vista on the Sunday night, November 16, as part of the fringe scene.

With him playing were Martin Blake and Aidan Sheehan, of Whiskey River Blues Band, who travelled down from Hereford.

The threesome played to a packed out cafe, with proprietors, Claudia and Yanni, having to close the doors on eager music lovers who could not get tickets.

Their performance almost brought the roof down, with people stomping their feet, clapping and dancing!

Dan stayed in Tenby for a few days and loved every minute of it! He made several friends during his stay and is due to visit Pembrokeshire again in April and May 2009 with further performances, both with his Swing Band (Burnett's Hill Chapel) and his folk duo (Caffe Vista).

Tenby has seen many great people visiting through the years and now with the success of the last Tenby Blues Festival, the town has had another addition to that growing list!
