SPARKS could fly tomorrow (Saturday) evening when Tenby born actor and former Coronation Street star Charles Dale takes part in a celebrity edition of The Weakest Link.
Although he is now based in England, Charles, - the son of Laurie Dale and the late Marion Dale - is proud of his Welsh roots and no doubt there will be some banter between him and the show's vitriolic presenter Anne Robinson, who was famously castigated for trying to put Wales into Room 101!
The special charity edition of the popular BBC quiz show can be seen on BBC1 at 6.45 pm and also features among others Joe McGann, of Night and Day, EastEnder Laila Morse, David Easter, of Family Affairs, and The Bill's Roberta Taylor.
