Santa was on hand to switch on Pembroke Dock’s sparkling Christmas lights on Friday night, with a little ‘elf and safety’ supervision from his friends!
Father Christmas enlisted the help of local county councillor Josh Beynon, kitted out in elf attire, to join in the with the festive spirit of the event, with music from the Silver Band,
Plenty of family fun was had by all in attendance, which continued the following day in the town when Santa returned to welcome children to his grotto in Pater Hall.
“I think the evening went very well on Friday - the kids were very excited to see Santa!” said acting town clerk Amanda Dillaway.
“Kids were lining the route and Santa got out on Dimond Street and walked the rest of the way. Then he and the Mayor did the countdown and turned on the lights.
“Loads of kids turned up, and received books as a present. I think the whole weekend went very well,” she added.
