The National Osteoporosis Society will be holding a 'bone friendly' tea party in Saundersfoot on Monday, October 18, to raise awareness of the fragile bone disease, and to raise vital funds for the millions of sufferers of the condition across the UK.
The free public event, which will take place at the Sun Lounge, Regency Hall, will kick-off at 2 pm and will provide people in the South Pembrokeshire area the chance to get together and hear more about osteoporosis over delicious tea and bone friendly cakes.
Gwyneth Thomas, country support officer for Wales, said: "The Saundersfoot Tea Party is not only a great way to find out more about osteoporosis - a condition which affects as many as three million people in the UK every year - but it will also provide locals with the chance to meet new friends and catch up with old ones. Of course, it will also be a fantastic way to support the National Osteoporosis Society and the vital work that we do."
